Notarise Indian Power of Attorney at Melbourne CBD office
Our public notary in Melbourne CBD can notarise documents for use in India generally on the same business day and also provide the two separate independent witnesses (if you cannot provide your own) for the notarised document.
Please call our office on 03 9602 3988 for a quote. When coming for an appointment, please bring the documents to be notarised and 100 points of ID (e.g. Australian Passport and Driver’s License).
You should ask your lawyer in India to prepare the power of attorney for use in India as well as the requirements for witnessing documents. You may need to have the power of attorney printed onto bonded or stamped paper and then posted to Melbourne. Once the document is notarised in front of our Melbourne Notary Public, you can check with your lawyer in India whether an Apostille Stamp is required from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
