Do you need a notary public in Melbourne to notarise your AFP National Police Check Certificate?
Our Melbourne Notary Public can notarise your National Police Check Certificate. Please note that if you have a digital National Police Check certificate, you must order the hard copy certificate for us to notarise it. Your digital National Police Check Certificate might not be able to be printed due to added security features. You should try to print it. If you would like to speed up the process of notarising the AFP National Police Check certificate, please order the hard copy certificate in your initial application. You might also want to ask if they can post it directly to our office in Melbourne CBD so we can call you to come in when we receive it. Given the digital certificate has a QR code, you might want to ask the intended recipient whether a digital certificate without being notarised is sufficient. If it is then the document can be verified online. Nevertheless, many government departments and companies outside Australia still require the notarised National Police Check Certificate.
